This tweek makes overflow in the X composer easier to see by fading any text that goes past the 280-character soft limit. Instead of treating all characters the same, it follows X-style weighted counting so the point where fading begins matches how X counts posts, including shortened links.
When your draft goes over the limit, the composer also shows an over-limit number inside the ring counter. The behavior applies across X composers, including the main post composer and reply composer, on both x.com and twitter.com.
