This tweek adjusts YouTube’s player timer by adding one second to the displayed video duration, then advances the current time to match when the video ends.

Key Highlights

  • Adds one second to YouTube’s displayed total video duration
  • Keeps the current playback time normal until the video ends
  • Shows the adjusted final time at completion so current time and duration match
  • Works on youtube.com video pages

Details

YouTube Video Duration Fix (+1 Second) changes the visible timer on youtube.com so the static total duration shows one added second. For example, a displayed duration such as 24:58 is shown as 24:59.

The current playback time remains normal while the video is playing. When the video reaches its original final second, the displayed current time advances by one second so the end time matches the adjusted duration instead of appearing one second short.
