Product Changelog

Changelog: April 16-30, 2026

Connect your own ChatGPT account, a new landing page, automatic updates for installed marketplace tweeks, a simpler usage budget, and better generation on pages with embedded frames.

You can now connect your own ChatGPT account to Tweeks and pick the models your generations run on. Tweeks you install from Discover now keep themselves up to date, usage limits were reworked into a single budget that goes much further for updates, and the website got a new landing page.

New

  • Bring your own ChatGPT account — Connect a ChatGPT account from the Integrations section of your dashboard. Generations can then run through your own account with your own limits, and you can choose which models power the Fast and Smart generation paths.
  • Marketplace tweeks update themselves — Tweeks installed from Discover now update automatically when the creator publishes a new version, with a toast to let you know. Tweeks you've edited yourself are left alone. Popular installs like the Imgflip watermark remover now stay current on their own.
  • A simpler usage budget — Creating and updating now draw from a single budget, and an update costs a small fraction of a create, so iterating on a tweek no longer eats your quota. The popup shows what's left in a compact drawer, and the reset time now means what it says: the full budget comes back.
  • Upgrade without leaving the extension — Upgrading to Pro now opens checkout straight from the extension, and your new limits apply as soon as you're done.
  • New landing page — The website has a new front page, with the product demo front and center.

The new Tweeks landing page

Improved

  • Generation sees embedded frames — Page capture now includes cross-site embedded frames, so tweeks that target things like embedded players or checkout widgets come out right far more often.
  • Redesigned shared tweek pages — Shared tweek pages were restructured for people seeing a tweek for the first time. The layout is cleaner, descriptions are more useful, and the screenshot gallery got a proper lightbox with keyboard and swipe support. Remove Sponsored Results from Google Search shows the new layout below.

  • Clearer AI usage in tweeks — Tweeks that use the TW_inference API now show clear alerts when you need to sign in or you've hit your usage limit, and the sign-in prompt opens right in the popup.
  • Consistent naming — Generated tweeks and their summaries now read consistently as Tweeks output.
  • Onboarding polish — A better final step, clearer setup buttons, and a tidier site footer.

Fixed

  • Script guard alerts — Notifications are back when the script guard disables a runaway tweek, so you know when Tweeks stepped in.
